We are so proud of the Legion's own Rose Medico, who ran the Nazareth Pumpkin Pie 5k this morning in Bangor, PA. Prior to the pandemic, this is a race than she'd run every year, but last year it wasn't held. While she did it this year, she really wasn't able to train for it. In fact, she hadn't trained since her last race, some two weeks ago.
To further complicate matters, Rose had Covid a few weeks back and breathing continues to be a struggle, today. Imagine doing a 5k given these issues, with below freezing temperatures at check-ins this morning. Nonetheless, she was there to run. Did she quit? Hell no!! In fact, out of 660 finishers, Marathon Mom finished 105th overall and 4th in her age group (F 30-39).
Rose states she took Dust V2 and 3 Halo Elites about 20 minutes before the race started. Immediately after the race, she ran to her car to get her Pound Cake Isolation and a banana. She states that's her typical pre and post workout routine so that's what she did pre and post race.
Rose is very happy with her results, as are we!!
